The Great Train Robbery

The "Great Train Robbery" took place

In Nineteen Twenty Four;

Three million dollars worth of stuff

Was going up the shore.

Brent Glasscock was among the thieves;

To rob that train took nerve:

The biggest shipment ever sent

By Federal Reserve.

The railroad car was full of swag,

Which all was quite high-priced;

So diamonds, gold, and silver bars

Were hi-jacked in that heist.

The thieves were caught, except for Brent,

Who took that loot, my dears;

He buried half the haul, and then

Was caught - and served four years.

That stuff is buried somewhere still,

In Midwest real estate;

If you know where Brent stashed the loot,

Let's us cooperate!
